The Fall Harvest Festival celebrates everything that’s great about autumn: the food, the crafts, and the family-friendly activities. The festival at Historic Hancock’s Resolution will have all of these and more when it opens its doors for the festival next Sunday, October 13th at 10 a.m.

Although the festivities carry on until 4 p.m., make sure you show up earlier in the day if you want to feast on the farm harvest dinner. Local market Angel’s will provide the fresh ingredients needed to recreate recipes that were historically made around the time of the fall harvest, but lunch is only served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. ($12 per person). Even if you miss this window, you can still enjoy the rest of the fun. Build your own scarecrow, bob for apples, or grind corn into cornmeal. Enjoy like folk music from Red Crow, watch beekeepers at work, and check out masters as they show off wood-carving, quilting, and spinning skills. General admission to the Fall Harvest Festival is $5 per person or $10 per family.
