Pasadena’s Trick-or-Treat Trail is such a popular annual event that its organizers decided to do things a little differently this year. In order to make enough room for everyone, they’re opening up four time slots for trick-or-treaters on Oct. 26 at Downs Memorial Park. The first one begins at noon, and every hour a new batch of trick-or-treaters arrives.

Gathering candy is only part of the fun at the Trick-or-Treat Trail. There’s also a costume contest, so make sure your youngsters wear their Halloween best for a chance to win a prize. You can also swing by the pumpkin patch to grab a gourd to take home, and have your little ones’ faces painted for the evening. Admission is $5 for kids 12 and under, and make sure you also bring along some cash for parking.
