Stop Exploitation and Bring Freedom with Dash 4 Dignity

April 18, 2022

If you are looking to get involved with an organization that is working to raise awareness of human trafficking and exploitation, please consider running in or volunteering for the Dash 4 Dignity 5K Run & 1K Freedom Walk & Community Awareness Resources.

This annual event functions to have a direct impact on those affected by modern-day slavery in the Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Delaware areas and will take place less than 15 minutes from Creekstone Village on April 30th, at Heritage in Severn, MD. This event also includes virtual event options for those unable to attend or prefer to participate in a location of their choice.

You can help Dash 4 Dignity in raising funds or by learning about the ways to keep people, especially children and youth, safe, as well as how to recognize and report signs of exploitation. Proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to City of Refuge Baltimore, Drink at The Well, and local outreaches in Maryland.

In-person events take place at 8146 Quarterfield Road, Severn, MD 21144 at 7:30 am for the 5K and 7:40 am for the 1K walk on April 30th. Virtual participants may participate at any time in the week leading up to April 30th. Be sure to register and learn more about the event here.
