Tour Festive Décor Downtown on a Holiday Candlelight Stroll of Annapolis

December 11, 2020

Do you love history and holiday decor? Celebrate the holiday season with a festive walk through historic downtown Annapolis, about a 30-minute drive from Creekstone Village down MD-2 South. Tours are held every Friday and Saturday in December, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., except December 25. The Holiday Candlight Stroll of Annapolis is a local tradition this time of year, so bundle up to stay warm and cozy during one of the most unique holiday experiences in the area!

You’ll start the guided tour at Market House Park and follow a guide in traditional costume as lanterns light the way through the historic district. Listen to stories of holiday traditions of times past as you see local landmarks decked out to celebrate the season. Learn more about the history of Annapolis while you check out the décor on local shops, the Maryland State Capitol building, and charming homes.

Your spirits will be glowing as brightly as the lanterns by the end of this evening tour.  Whether you know the city well or you’re visiting for the first time, this will be a holiday experience to remember.  Buy tickets online ahead of time and be sure to review the enhanced COVID-19 policies in its entirety before your arrival for everyone’s safety.  Be sure to bring your mask since it’s required during the experience.
